AVID LLC Announces NewVA Corridor Tech Council Award

Blacksburg, Virginia, May 18, 2007 - The NewVa Corridor Technology Council, which serves Roanoke, Blacksburg and surrounding counties, named the winners of its annual technology awards.

AVID LLC proudly announces its receipt of the “High Tech Company of the Year” award. This award goes to the locally-headquartered company deemed to have shown the greatest achievement. The nine nominees for this award included AVID LLC of Blacksburg, Click and Pledge of Blacksburg, Integrity Windows & Doors of Roanoke, KelTech Inc. of Roanoke, NetVentures Corp. of Roanoke, New City Media of Blacksburg, SynaptiCAD Sales Inc. of Blacksburg, Third Security, LLC of Radford, and Webmail.us of Blacksburg.

AVID LLC provides aircraft design consulting services and produces several aircraft design and analysis software tools. Software design tools include AVID OAV for modeling and simulation of ducted fan vehicles, AVID ACS for modeling and simulation of fixed wing vehicles, AVID PAGE for rapid geometry definition, and AVID SPOT for evaluating sensor and aircraft performance.
